Christmas in Oxford
The city of dreaming spires will soon once again be filled with festive joy as Christmas celebrations return to the heart of Oxford. If you’re lucky enough to be visiting this season then here is our boutique Oxford hotel’s guide to Christmas in the city.
Oxford’s Christmas Light Festival
The annual Oxford Christmas Light Festival brings together the local community and tourists alike to celebrate one of the highlights in Oxford’s rich cultural calendar. Taking place over 3 days between the 16 to18th November, enjoy a variety of exciting entertainment throughout the city centre including music, dance, light and sound installations and choirs for a truly festive treat. This year’s theme is ‘Undiscovered Oxford’, showcasing the city’s streets and architecture in a new light. It’s a must-see when you stay at our boutique hotel in Oxford this season.

Pantos and Christmas Theatre
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a pantomime and here in Oxford, it’s no different! Fee-fi-fo-fum, we smell lots of panto fun! Head to the Oxford Playhouse to see Jack and the Beanstalk for plenty of laughs and experience Oxford’s most GIANT pantomime yet! Or, if you fancy something a little more traditional then check out the North Wall Arts Centre’s production of A Christmas Carol – it’s guaranteed to make even the biggest Scrooges around feel festive!
