Oxford High School for Girls
Highly selective and an academic powerhouse based on three sites beside each other. They operate as a ‘through school’ whereby students benefit from shared teaching, facilities, support and expertise from age 4 to 18.
Magdalen College School
Founded in 1480 and linked to the University’s Magdalen College. Magdalen’s is a day school, ideal for academic high-achievers. For boys aged 7 to 18, with girls in the sixth form.
St Edward’s School
Set in its own extensive grounds in north Oxford. St Edward’s takes boarding and day pupils, both boys and girls, from 13 to 18. It has excellent facilities for sport, art and music. The school is for all-rounders of mixed abilities.

Perhaps the country’s most famous co-educational preparatory school with riverside playing fields and excellent facilities. The Dragon School takes pupils from 8 to 13.

A long-established, traditional, boys’ preparatory school with 70 acres of ground, including golf course, in North Oxford. Summer Fields School feeds most of Britain’s leading senior schools. They take pupils from 8 to 13 and while they are principally a boarding school they take some day pupils.

Attractive setting in the centre of Oxford. We stayed in a suite which was beautiful, immaculately clean and luxurious. The staff were attentive and gave us some great tips on how to fit in all the sights. I would definitely recommend.
