A short stroll from our Oxford hotel, the North Gate Church was built around 1000-1050, making it Oxford’s oldest building. The church is named after its original location beside the North Gate of Oxford when it was surrounded by a city wall.

We stayed in an elegant top floor superior room, tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and oodles of space! The staff were so welcoming and catered for our every need. Breakfast we were spoilt for choice - everything looked scrumptious! Highly recommended!
